The cannabis extraction industry has made many technological and technical advances into automation and semi-automation within the last decade. It has adopted many techniques and extraction methods from other industries that have assisted in this advancement. Having a diverse range of extraction methods has led to many different product types and formats. Some popular extraction types that have benefitted from these advances are: solventless hash extraction, hydrocarbon extraction, ethanol extraction and distillation, vapor-static extraction, freon extraction, microwave extraction, even general terpene extraction and isolate conversion. While CO2 and isopropyl extraction types are still used, they are becoming more obsolete and not making many advancements technologically. This presentation will concentrate on the semi-automation and automation of the more popular extraction methods.
During this webinar, we will discuss:
- Technological advancements in cannabis extraction
- Diverse extraction methods and product diversity
- Automation and semi-automation of extraction methods
