Abstract: This presentation will cover all the technical and chemical aspects behind supercritical carbon dioxide extraction in relation to the cannabis extraction process. It will cover the micro details regarding supercritical fluid, temperature, pressure, separating and why it is a superior process for cannabis extraction. The presentation will also cover the entire CO2 process from starting material (grinded/ decarb) through crude oil, all the way up to distillate, isolate and further cannabinoid conversion.
