Published: Sep 11, 2020

Speaking at The Science of Cannabis Extraction 2020 Online Symposium in June, Thomas Rosengren of Flower One presented his fascinating talk on boutique cannabis extracts.

Abstract: Liquid Petroleum Gas extraction of Cannabis spp. is an attractive method for derivatization of products for both recreational and medicinal consumers. Generic process flows, consideration of variables affecting outputs, and methods of consumption are presented. Chromatographic fundamentals applicable to color remediation chromatography (CRC) of boutique concentrates, are discussed. Effects of CRC on morphological outcomes, cannabinoid and terpene profiles are examined.
