Agricor Launches Free Homogeneity Calculator For Cannabis-infused Products
Agricor Laboratories, a state-certified marijuana testing laboratory in Colorado, announced that it has created a free, online homogeneity calculator for use by manufacturers of marijuana- and CBD-infused products.
Agricor’s homogeneity calculator allows manufacturers to quickly determine if their infused-product’s homogeneity achieves the target “relative standard deviation” (RSD) set by Colorado MED regulation.
If the marijuana- or CBD-infused product is within the set tolerances for RSD, manufacturers can rest assured their products will deliver a consistent medicinal experience, no matter what portion of the products (e.g. a chocolate square) is consumed. Manufacturers can also ensure they are in compliance with new Colorado regulation.
Agricor’s homogeneity calculator is accessed on the web. A user simply enters the product’s RSD test results along with the THC and/or CBD label claim, to calculate pass/fail batch test results.
The new Colorado MED regs, link, state that single-serving products are homogenous if a minimum of a total of four servings from four individual single-serve packaged units have an RSD less than 10 percent for each cannabinoid listed on the label.
Multi-serving products are homogenous if a minimum of four servings from two packaged units have an RSD less than 10 percent for each cannabinoid listed on the label.
“Agricor Laboratories offers a full array of laboratory tests, including our recently added heavy metals testing for arsenic, cadmium, lead, and mercury,” said Agricor co-founder Mike Branvold. “Now, as an additional public service, we are offering this homogeneity calculator to ensure the safety and legal compliance of marijuana- and CBD-infused products from any manufacturer.”
Agricor provides the most-accurate, transparent, and consistent laboratory services for cannabis and marijuana cultivators and infused-product manufacturers.
Botanacor provides analytical testing services to meet hemp compliance, safety, formulation, and business transactional requirements. Agricor accepts cannabis samples from Colorado, and Botanacor can accept hemp test samples from anywhere in North America.
