Agricor Launches Free Homogeneity Calculator For Cannabis-infused Products
Agricor Laboratories, a state-certified marijuana testing laboratory in Colorado, announced that it has created a free, online homogeneity calculator for use by manufacturers of marijuana- and CBD-infused products.
Agricor’s homogeneity calculator allows manufacturers to quickly determine if their infused-product’s homogeneity achieves the target “relative standard deviation” (RSD) set by Colorado MED regulation.
If the marijuana- or CBD-infused product is within the set tolerances for RSD, manufacturers can rest assured their products will deliver a consistent medicinal experience, no matter what portion of the products (e.g. a chocolate square) is consumed. Manufacturers can also ensure they are in compliance with new Colorado regulation.
Agricor’s homogeneity calculator is accessed on the web. A user simply enters the product’s RSD test results along with the THC and/or CBD label claim, to calculate pass/fail batch test results.
The new Colorado MED regs, link, state that single-serving products are homogenous if a minimum of a total of four servings from four individual single-serve packaged units have an RSD less than 10 percent for each cannabinoid listed on the label.
Multi-serving products are homogenous if a minimum of four servings from two packaged units have an RSD less than 10 percent for each cannabinoid listed on the label.
