PSI Labs Expands From Michigan into California
The analytical services of PSI Labs will soon be available outside of Michigan.
In a press release on August 10, the Ann Arbor-based cannabis testing company announced that it had acquired pH Solutions, a pharmaceutical and botanical testing lab in Monrovia, southern California.
With this acquisition, PSI Labs will begin testing flower, oils, pre rolled cones, and other cannabis products for Californian companies.
“California is a critical market in the United States, with a long history of leading innovation and elevating the conversation around national legalization,” Ben Rosman, CEO and co-founder of PSI Labs, said in a statement.
Founded in 2015, PSI Labs is one of 18 cannabis testing facilities currently operating in Michigan and one of 12 licensed to test for recreational and medical cannabis.
“California is an exciting next step for our organization, and we look forward to growing both within and outside of Michigan in the coming years,” Lev Spivak-Birndorf, chief scientific officer and co-founder of PSI Labs, said in a statement.
