EVIO Labs Florida, the first ISO Accredited Cannabis Testing laboratory in the state, has extended their presence into Northern Florida just shy of their one-year anniversary. Florida’s patient count has rapidly grown in the past year reaching upwards of 180,000 patients to date.

“With the current patient count on the rise, we’ve continued to expand our operation by adding additional Shimadzu equipment to meet the expected volume of samples in the months ahead. Increasing our capabilities to analyze over 1400+ samples a day ensures that our clients will receive results in an expeditious manner while safeguarding patients will have access to their medicine” said Chris Martinez, Co-Founder & President of EVIO Labs Florida.

“In addition to analyzing cannabis for beneficial compounds like cannabinoids and terpenes, we ensure safety by analyzing for contaminants such as pesticides, heavy metals, residual solvents, mycotoxins, aflatoxins and pathogens using instruments such as HPLC, GC-MS/MS, LC-MS/MS, and ICP-MS provided by Shimadzu”

“The state of Florida has seen exponential growth in its medical cannabis program, and EVIO Labs is at the forefront of ensuring safe, quality products,” said Dr. Bob Clifford, General Manager at Shimadzu Scientific Instruments. “We are proud to work with the dedicated team at EVIO Labs and look forward to building on our current relationship.”
