Kandice Faulkenberry is the CEO and Co-Founder of Steep Hill Oklahoma, a cannabis testing laboratory that focuses on providing services to ensure the safety and quality of medical cannabis for patients in Oklahoma. Kandice launched Steep Hill Oklahoma in 2019 and made her mark by being the first woman to start a laboratory within the Steep Hill organization, and by being the second woman in Oklahoma to own a licensed cannabis testing laboratory. For the past 10 years, Kandice has worked in the Medical Laboratory Science field, including acting as the Medical Laboratory Director of Northeastern Health Systems Sequoyah. Kandice’s immediate focus is serving as a member of the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority’s laboratory board whose goals include recommendations for legislation that would place stricter guidelines to curb bad lab practices, cannabis laboratory standardization, and enhancing safety considerations for the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana patients. Steep Hill is a leader in cannabis science and technology focusing on lab testing, quality assurance, and data analytics.
